If its so important to him he can buy a 250GB slim & we can swap! He needs not give me a cash difference for my 60GB, I'll do him a favour & make a straight swap!

    **Worth a try** hehehehe

I still have my slim PS2 so i don't care that much about backwards compatability.

I recently was reading the uk play magazine mag. They interviewed Mark Bowles - Product manager for SCEE and they asked him about it.

Play - Some commentators still feel this functionality is important to consumers, but does Sony disagree?

Mark Bowles - We have said for a long time our focus is on high-definition PS3 games and that we would not be bringing backwards compatibility back to the PS3. We are now two-and-half years intothe lifecycle of PS3 and we have a very extensive library of games. Our priority is to keep bringing the best high-definition gaming experience to PS3 and that is something that will continue.

The only game i know that does this on the PS3 slim is Singstar.

Although, you need the PS3 Singstar first and then while playing that press select and insert the PS2 singstar disk.
