    I just used the installer on the Cyangenmod site, since the instructions for installing it on an S2 is actually wrong/out of date. The installer worked very easily. It even included the Google apps.

    I tried the installer, sadly for me, the S3 mini isn't officially supported by Cyanogenmod, although I see the big S3 is. So I had to get an unofficial build and flash using the recovery method.

    I must say, I'm becoming a big Android fanboy, my phone was really starting to irritate me, but I'm really enjoying it again now.

    I tried the CyanogenMod installer on the site as well for my S3 (full size) and it said my device is not supported

    Odd, is it the i9300? It's on the list of supported devices http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Cyanog...ported_Devices

    Maybe it's a new addition...

    Yeah, i9300 (Intl). Weird that it didn't work then. I'm not trying again though, maybe some other time :P

    Well it says it needs the stock rom installed, so maybe doing a factory reset first might help
