True, and I accept that. But then there's games like GTA5 which released without online and they still reviewed as a SP (offline) game. Or you have critcs like Polygon IIRC that reviewed the game, then revisited the review to worsen the score based on certain faetures not working. Surely critics can revisit a review score if things change for the game back to what they promised.

Not trying to start a flame or a debate or anything, just a simple point of view and/or opinion.

Or alternatively split the review score into a single player and multiplayer score/rating. You could still have an overall rating if you really wanted to.

You could have a game score 9/10 for SP and whatever out of 10 for the multiplayer and then a combined rating with a clause stating that the score will be revisited once functionality has been sorted out.

I can't believe that it would be that crazy to do, but I would understand that it could be difficult for some reviewers with a lot on their plate to revisit a game they played months ago.

That is a good idea that is how I feel reviews should be done but these days it is just an opinion of some guy and you get a score at the end without an explanation how he or she got to that score.

I have been having internal debate about whether to get xbone or ps4. I personally preferred xbox 360 to ps3, mainly coz of controller and LIVE. but I think the ps4 exclusive like Bloodborne and Uncharted have swayed me...

Now I just need to find the cash for it
