Default New content confirmed for Battlefield 4

So final stand wasn't so final...

As a title, Final Stand had a sense of... finality to it. Not so, it seems. Battlefield 4's latest DLC pack will not, as was once assumed, be its last. In a new post on the Battlefield Battlefour Battleblog (it's not really called that), DICE reveals that future content is now planned.

"With Battlefield 4 Final Stand released," writes a real human speaking through the faceless communication channel of the Battlefield 4 website, "we hope and believe that you will enjoy it together with the rest of the game for a long time. However, there is one thing we want to assure you: there is more content coming for Battlefield 4."

What is this new content? When is it happening? Why am I pelting you with questions? Alas, none of these things can be answered yet. The post does, however, contain words like "near" and "future" in regards to upcoming announcements.

Perhaps more tellingly, DICE is asking which old fan-favourite maps you'd like to see make a return. There's even a poll set up to collect people's opinions on the matter.

And I'm assuming you won't get this if you own Premium.

Purchased BF4, played it for an hour and gave up immediately, haven't gone back (probably won't visit the franchise ever again)
    To polish a turd...

Frustration from sucking more than everyone else on the map, isn't good cause to say a game is broken :P

Hahaha! That is not the case. The game is buggy and unbalanced, luckily I know how to use that to my advantage. [emoji4]

The game was really quite shit when it just came out, which is why I played 3 hours and dropped it. I recently went back to the game after numerous patches and it is a lot better now and I am really enjoying it.

Lol, I find the bugs lay mostly in the modes other than Conquest. Bar the random CTD that happens once ever month or so, the game has been perfectly smooth for me since the Naval Strike DLC.

Probably, in which case they can go take a long walk off of a short pier with cement shoes

    Play games, not platforms

Not if EA has anything to say about it.
