Thanks, let me know how it turns outI've basically shelved it for now until the game is in a better state. I don't want to put myself of by playing an incomplete game.
The update issues don't sound promising. Will try to update my game tonight in download plus time. Hoping it just works!
When an anti-piracy method is affecting the game for people who legitimately bought it and causing other people not to buy the game, there is obviously something wrong with it!

Yeah, wth were they thinking? It's reckless releasing 1.0 with a 20GB update, and why would they even consider it? It's obviously a great deal of changes, they could have slowly released it over a month and made sure everything works. There will definitely be issues with such a big patch.

Nope. Am very keen on getting one of the cheaper ones (Alpha/Beta) and holding onto it for possible upgrade later though. Love the whole ranges' looks. (I think TheJoker posted a shot of his AMD Gamma freebie variant in the Screen Shots thread - looks amazing!)

Officially still Alpha Access only. And only to the Arena Commander module. If you have a package without Alpha you can buy a $5 Access voucher.
Think they'll be doing the same for the FPS module and the Planetside module later - early backers with Alpha Access will be able to get in, the rest of us will need to buy access vouchers again.
I'm assuming most of us with more recent standard packages that include Beta Access will need to wait until the point where the separate modules are all ready enough to be linked up. Personally I think mid-2016 with a full release towards the last part of that year.
I'd love to be very wrong about that though...
