    Awwww yeah!

First I got Win8 at a awesome price(R350 when it was first released) and now I get Win10 as a free upgrade.

Also not sure what people's gripe is with Win8.1, I would never go back to Win7.
Where to start, the start menu cumbersome, features are hidden and more difficult to find than in Win7, there's no easy way to get into safe mode unlike previous iterations. I have gotten used to it, but I still don't like it, I much prefer the Win7 experience.

Very awesome of them to give away 10 for free. Despite the changes I'm actually really happy with 8 though, haven't actually followed the news on 10 to see what's going to be different this time around.

Im not too sure how it would work, but when i got windows 8 i had to link and email address to the account, so im sure there will be something like this with windows 10, then you just keep the same serial i assume?

I love windows 8, and 8.1, iv been using it since the week it came out and iv been extremely happy... windows 10 can only bring good things in my opinion...

... and it's still in development, so there can be so many additions and tweaks to still take place, whereby making the user's experience even better than it already appears to be.

I never looked forward to an OS, just want to try them out; I do now.

That vid looks great, great consept, but, those visuals look almost too great... My feeling is, it'll never look that awesome or be that smooth and stable in reality.

Only checked this out now. Wow! If that's for real, it's pretty amazing. But as you say, it just seems unreal that it would look that good. Here's hoping though

Me too, i originally hated 8.

But installed a 3rd party app to bring back the start menu and get away with the tiles setup. It functions exactly like windows 7's taskbar/startmenu now.

Bootup is about 3 - 5 sec upon pressing the power button, huge improvement from win7.

Looking forward to Windows 10, hoping they improve the boot time even more :P
