The Resident Evil films should've died after the first one already, last one was the worst of the lot.
Totally agree with both points there.

Games and film shouldn't mix. As gaming evolves its leaning more and more towards making each players play through unique. Whether through choice or random AI or Random missions or classic co-op. A film will never be able to do that meaning that had the player played game X and had a unique experience now the player watched film based on game X and is disappointed because the film was nothing like the experience the player had in game. Games and film are two very differnt forms of entertainment and i feel they should stop trying to be the other. Games want to be movies and movies want to be games.

After the horror of the Doom movie, or as I like to call it "Resident Evil on Mars", I'm very sceptical of movies based from games and vice versa.

Yeah, Doom was a disaster - and its not as if the game didn't have real movie potential to begin with.

Apparently, Uwe Boll - who calls himself the best director in the world and challenged Michael Bay to a boxing match - was planning on making the God of War movie until the people started a petition against it

Doom was bad ...but there have been others Like Hitman that was a good adaption ,
Till now most of the movies have been an atempt to cash in on the success of the games ,but studios have realised that and are now trying to be more faithful
one thing to understand is that it is incredibly hard to condense a 10 hr game into a 1 hr movie and still please the fans ,have enough of a narative and still be able to atract others that havent even played the game and make the experiane enjoyable for them as well.

But like its been said the POP movie looks excellant .

Im sure you all know about Tekken coming out this year

I enjoyed the Silent Hill movie. Sure it wasn't exactly like the games but the movie wasn't bad at all.

Loved Silent Hill! Uncharted might also not be a bad idea?

Only game-to-movies that were any good at all was Doom and Silent Hill

Hitman: The actor had such a damn baby face and the character was epicly emo.

RE: Like, whut? Just a poor execution of the whole thing.

Tomb Raider: Ok the 1st was pretty allright, but the others? STOP MILKING!!!

Max Payne: Again, like hitman, wrong actor and the character is just all wrong.

The singularity is about to explode! Weapons are at maximum.
