Apparently they were worried about the fuss that various religious groups were going to kick up - hence the virus angle. But yes ... it was crap. Story-wise. The effects and all were pretty well done.
The action in Solitaire is too intense for the big-screen - sorry mateOriginally Posted by Maplassie

Read once Goldberg might be Kratos. He has the look, but kinda feel he would spoil it in the end...
I said adaption , and yes i have played them all ,When you say butched I wonder if you played them at all , there were a few of the names that were wrong , they didnt go the clone route (or so we know ) but like I said before the Movie which is a completely different medium from GAMES has to attract more than the target market .
If they made it exactly like the game then only people who played the game would know what was going on , and the rest of the masses would be left confused to some degree .
The primary objective is to make money from the movie and if you limit intrest to just those that played it , you limit profits .
As an ADAPTION of the Hitman Game it was great .

i know the story of the game couldn't have been adapted for all audiences but seriously, what set Hitman apart from the Transporter 3 for example? (excusing the driving scenes) The game had an awesome story, theres a difference between adaption and inspiration.....
And Max Payne?
Virus, Demons, These days it's pretty much the same difference.
The singularity is about to explode! Weapons are at maximum.
