Given the youth of the actors (or at least youthful-looking-ness), I guess the love triangle between Cyclops, Jean, and Wolverine won't feature in X-Men Apocalypse. That would just be weird.

Jean and Storm look perfectly cast! not convinced by the look of "Tye Sheridan" as Cyclops :-/

and don't see why they can't have a love triangle with Wolverine/Jean/Cyclops? These are teens, bordering on 20. plenty of shows on Disney channel have such setups already

He's enough of a pretty-boy to make it work, I reckon

Hah! They would have to recast Wolverine for that to work, no? Hugh Jackman pining after Sophie Turner just seems a little... off.

ohh, wait, good point. I forgot that Wolverine does not really age and therefore they would need an OLD dude to play him i was thinking they would all be teenagers

having said that, from a legal point of view, she is 18 and hawt!

Couldn't agree more... That guy just isn't Cyclops to me... Strange that they have revamped pretty much the whole cast, but kept Hugh Jackman? Surely just keep it the same until they revamp the entire cast? Or is it just me?

    Jean Grey: Sophie Turner
    Storm: Alexandra Shipp

Not an avid X-Men fan, but these girls are worth a watch of the movie.

I've always had a soft spot for the X-Men movies. My favourite scene was in X-Men 3: The Last Stand where Professor X went to see Jean and she rips him and the house apart. It was E.P.I.C.

    *Ororo.

I think they look the part. The dude looks like he can pull of Slim.

The love triangle was a construct of the older movies. The comics had a small bit of that and the Wolverine/Cyclops rivalry, but they amped it up in the Animated Series and then in the movies. The comics then followed suit.
    That's what she said.

    The Dork Knight.

I know its unpopular to like them on the Internet, but I actually really like where the first trilogy of X-men movies took that story arc.

Obviously there was plenty to find fault with, but the final scenes of Last Stand?... all the feels.

Like I mentioned in my post earlier, Last Stand has my favourite scene
    Spoiler: show
    with Professor X dying
. The scene with Wolverine and Jean Grey at the end were also very good...
