Never heard of a G310... so get a 9800GT. Where are you getting this stock from?

Ditto, this is the first I heard of such a card. The 9800GT would be the safe bet.

Edit: After a search it seems the G310 is just a renamed G210 (nice nVidia). You're better off with the 9800GT, the G210 is not very fast, in fact it's not even a little fast.

If that's the case, then the G310 is very crap actually and a 9800 is by far the winner her.

I've heard the G310 is aimed at replacing the 9600 range(but is actually a straight forward G210 - no [email protected]), so definately concur with 9800GT that everyone suggests, far superior

I own the 9800GT Green Edition. Very happy with it and have had no problems at all.
Can actually play any DX9 (Running WInXP here) on high settings (If there is an option to turn off Motion Blur, I'll take it) running on the native resolution of a 22".

The Green Edition basically means it does't need extra power from the Power Supply. Downside is that it is 10% slower than the reference 9800GT, But I don't see any slowdown at all with it.

click your way onto this link @ toms hardware , the chart is a bit old but its perfect if your not looking at the bleeding edge of graphic card technology.

Showing you the best to worst , and NVIDIA next to its ATI counterpart.
If anyone ever ask me about a possible upgrade , this is where I look.

Again , at the time of the making of this chart , the ati 4870x2 was the top dog , it is no longer , the chart is dated but still good for this reference.
