    *my 2 cents*

A console is not something I'll pay off. It's not like a car: something you need, so long-term payment is beneficial you - especially considering bills and such.

    A console is not a necessity, it's a luxury.

    So, bottom line: No thanks.

Well for some it's a lot easier to pay off than come up with the large amount needed to buy it once off. That's how I got my PS4 and I don't think I'd have one yet if I hadn't had the option from FNB. It's not really like buying other things on credit, as there's no interest on these deals. I'll probably get another TV or Xbone (if a few more exclusives I want to play release) through this method next year when my PS4 is done.

Edit: I've just read the article in full and taken note of the mention of interest. I'm sure I read these deals were interest free, so did a quick Google and it seems only certain bundles are interest free. I'm paying R369p.m. for my PS4 which came with an additional controller and 2 games, and at the time I received it the cash price of this bundle was nearly 10K, and I pay a total of R8856 in the end, so I don't think there was any interest. If I want to settle early though I'll have to pay what the retail price would've been.

Im getting a 48" Tv from them, it should arrive on Wednesday...

The main reason iv gone through FNB was because im busy building a new place and want to keep my money from insurance for new home appliances instead of replacing my old TV, and getting anything on credit at a place like game or makro, you end up paying like double what the thing is worth...

Sweet, I could use another Xbone (and another account to pay off).
