Camping

I wonder where the term "Camper" actualy started.

Im getting a little bit cheesed off at the term thrown around on MW2...."camper"

Please give me your opinion on what camper actually means?

Mine:

If you are killed by the same person in the same place more than 3 times in the same game then he or she is a camper.

But if you manage to not die once during a game and get 30 kills and do not do the above are you still a camper or just good?

Camper - definitely somebody who stays in the same place all the time and kills other players as they come by

Personally I don't see the fun in it and probably just shows that your not a very good player

Being killed by the same player in quick succession but always in a different place is definitely not camping, just probably a good player

Does camping include getting 3-6 players in quick succession from one spot, then moving, getting more kills at other spots? By quick succession I mean the other teams players keep moving into your target area, so you shoot them from the same spot. If only one came by, and no one else, I would move looking for enemy players. I personally don't think that is camping, because the only reason I am stationary is because I am shooting, and they keep coming. Don't see why I should "play nice" and give them a gap to out flank us or move into a better position.

Had the same thing happen to me we where playing a map and there was 6 guys coming down the stairs where I was heading but I have fallen back because I heard one coming and shot him and shot the other 5 as well and they tune me I was camping I just laughed.
So as long as it was not in there spawn place I would say no that is not camping just guys stupidity for running the same way where 3 or so buddies just died!

I still say, any tactic that doesn't invoke punkbuster, is 100% legal, and it's your own fault of you fell for it.

That inclueds camping, martydom/last stand, mines on objectives/passages, shooting through walls, crouching/proning/leanaing, spawn camping, pre-firing around courners, suicide grenades, grenade launchers, RPGs, and anything elce thats actualy possible in the game without hacking.
