New Nintendo 3DS launch date, prices for South Africa

The pre-order prices are in, and Core Gaming has confirmed that South Africa will get the New Nintendo 3DS consoles at the same time as the EU region

Bought the original 3DS XL recently and really don't see a huge upgrade in buying one of these. Anyone getting the new one?

Considering I bought only 1 game for my original 3ds before it gathered dust and was eventually stolen during a break-in... nope. Nintendo games just aren't my scene.

That sucks man. I've only a handful of games on it so far: Pokemon X and Fire Emblem mainly, so I won't be getting one either. Just interested to see if any of the current owners will be getting a new one (How bad the console CUD is:P).

I would like to get the New Nintendo 3DS eventually. Had an original 3DS a few years back but sold it.

Had a 3DS, sold it because I had played in a month or so, and have regretted doing so ever since.

Hope I can rectify my error.

There is something about Nintendo games that brings a smile to my face. Still haven't made up my mind over whether to get a Wii U or a 3DS.....in an ideal world it would be both. Have been keeping an eye out for a
second hand unit of either. Played Pikmin 3 with my friend at his house on his Wii U and loved it.

Get a New 3ds unless you can find a new Wii U for R2000 like I did at my game store .

I'm gonna wait till they hit olx and then look for one. I already have a 3ds xl so i don't have to upgrade yet. I see a lot of these 3ds consoles there because so many people buy them and don't use them as often as they want, that's how I got my 2.

Make sure you don't get scammed by OLX, I always prefer new personally straight from the shop.
