Default Battle net services in Africa

    Hi there

Would like to know if anyone knows where or any information how to get in contact with blizzard maybe to get service down here. As recently Australia got there own server. If memory servers me correct we had more players than in Australia so did they do the process right? or is there something that I have missed?

Thanks in advance for the feedback guys.

It's not going to happen. South Africa isn't even a snot smear on the stained glass window that is the internet.

    Use Google.

Use the Battle.net help pages. All of your information is readily available to get in contact with them and ask them directly.

The only "petition" I ever saw was this page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Blizz...51556115078206 and it has like under 200 likes Blizz does not love africa... Even if we get our own servers, in games like WoW i'd probably still stick to eu servers, SA server will be low populations, and dead auction houses, local server will be awesome for D3 though

My latencies to WoW, Diablo and Starcraft are all fine. No need for local servers when EU servers provide sufficient connectivity.

    What dude? I strongly disagree.

Starcraft is fine because I am a noob and I suck. Diablo on the other hand, the latency is terrible by anyone's standards. Even on a good day it's about 200ms and even that is noticeable. I can't speak for WoW because I have never played it.

I would definitely appreciate it if they gave us servers. Not that it's ever going to happen of course. They are extremely protective of their IP and if those servers fell into the wrong hands, the piracy-free history of those three games will be just that: history.

I don't know if Diablo 3 has a /played like WoW does, but I know I've clocked many hours in the game and not once did I experience any lag whatsoever.

Are your experiences recent, cos I played the 2 weeks ago and ran through Act 1 again and had absolutely zero problems. Never had any problems when I bought the game and ran through it twice on different difficulties either.

I think if you are used to WoW, then it's likely that the lag doesn't bother you as much. The lag doesn't make it unplayable, but it definitely affects the play experience, for me and a lot of other people I know. Local servers would be awesome. And like Eugene said, I think Overwatch is not going to be that fun for us over here. An FPS with even 200ms of lag is a waste of time.

Yeah i agree 100%. I think any game where a game is dependant on reaction time then a ping of 100-200ms will never work. Any Shooting games and racing games. But with games like WoW it is playable bur not always the most enjoyable
