Car guards raise mixed opinions among drivers. They're handy when it comes to exiting a crowded parking spot but at the same time, they can be a pest for your change because they 'helped' you reverse park.
Whatever your stance, a businessman in Cape Town felt very generous on Thursday and left two car guards a healthy tip - his R1.4m Audi R8.
According to the Cape Argus, a businessman reportedly handed over the keys to his Audi R8 to two car guards working at the Cable Car station on Table Mountain.
To add further intrigue to the businessman's generosity, there is even a sticker on the bonnet with the message 'A future for all'. Now that's one expensive tip.
WTF. Seriously? I really find this hard to believe. The guy was probably on drugs, because even if you are a tycoon in this country, R1.4M to someone you have never met is a lot of money.
Surely the guy has some good friends who, if he had such an urge to give away an R8, would have been ecstatic about the gift?
