Streaming suggestions and optimization

Hi All,

just looking for a little advice, before i start cancelling subscriptions

Current setup:

Lounge:
Nas server
PC connected to Samsung smart tv
Media browser 3
Hulu +
Netflix
Playon

Bedroom:
Xbox One
Media browser 3 - DLNA
Hulu +
Netflix

Basically all ok in the bedroom, in fact the xbox one does all of this really well. My issue is the lounge (apparently my wife went let me live in the bedroom only) Used to play all media through media browser from nas. but the minute i included streaming, it all became a headache, because the PLAYON plugin worked the first day and never since. so now if i want to swap between netflix and MB and hulu i have to go to the pc, close one and open the other. MY MCM remote is now me cause i cant open hulu or netflix inside MB3.

any suggestions on how i can fix the lounge setup - the ultimate goal is to get rid of DSTV (if i can find a site that does live SA rugby streaming)

You could try out a different media server like Plex or PS3 Media Server.

If you can find someone who doesn't mind you using their DSTV account details, you should be able to stream SuperSport

Thanks Matt, honestly the though of migrating to plex fills me with dread, especially because i've always been such a big supporter of MB3 and even have a lifetime subscription, not too mention the money ive spent on plugins - but if i have to i will

but the supersport streaming idea is brilliant and i definitly will look into that
