Default New Rise of the Tomb Raider Screenshots Released

Rise of the Tomb Raider will take Lara to the snowy wilds of Siberia as she searches for proof of her experiences in the previous game, Tomb Raider. This time around, a day and night system as well as dynamic weather will affect the type of animals that will be available for Lara to hunt, while the new location means new dangers including avalanches and fragile ice walls.

    Source.

The environment looks great. Still peeved that it's only coming to the Xbone and 360 for now, but eh, what can you do? Hopefully they fix the ludonarrative dissonance that was prevalent in the previous game. The whole "oh my word I had to kill a deer", then 5 minutes later mowing down an entire cult without remorse really annoyed me.

How often does the concept art make it into the final product?

sometimes 360 ports might suprise you, look at how good titanfall turned out, and horizon 2 was a pretty impressive port even though alot of haters tried to do a direct comparison with the xbone version.

I can't see it doing that well if it launches on only console, and only 1 make as well...especially not when the foundation (read: Tomb Raider) was laid using all platforms.

Lets hope the consumers vote with their wallets!

It will be coming out for PS4 and PC (and I think PS3 as well), it is just a timed exclusive...

And I don't see why an xbox owner would vote with their wallets if the getting the game early...

Ah, I never clicked WITHIN that link, only read the "may come to other platforms"...may isn't exactly hopeful.
