Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, which launched today, is suffering compatibility issues with various Xbox One arcade sticks.
Team Ninja has confirmed via its Twitter account that Mad Catz’ Tournament Edition 2 FightSticks for Xbox One are not working with the game. Reports from users also claim that the Razer Atrox Arcade Sticks are also not functioning with the Xbox One version of the game.
There has not been any controller compatibility issues reported for the game on other platforms.
Team Ninja says it is has contacted Mad Catz and is looking into the issue. There has been no official confirmation from the studio or Razer regarding issues with the Atrox fight stick. No timeframe has been given for a fix.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is the most recent version of the long-running fighting game known for its mature themes. Recently, the game’s producer hinted at the franchise not appearing on PC again if modders do “unsavory things” with its characters.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, and PS3. The PC version was delayed and will be released on March 30.
