    Still though out internet has a hell of a long way to go before we can even consider being close to on the international standard...

    Its so difficult with the huge game downloads that are coming out at the moment... Not only do we struggle with speed, but our data costs are ridiculous... And if you go uncapped its only a matter of time before you get shapped...

    I remember reading somewhere that the US only 25MB and up will count as "broadband". what a gulf between us and them

    Those speeds are mind boggling, hopefully within 5 - 10 years we can be at those levels, and I don't even want to know where the rest of the world will be then.

    Glorious ANC provides 50mb line to South Africa.

    SA has world class 50mb lines standard thanks to spectacular efforts of the great ANC.

    Meanwhile in USA
    Uncapped 10 gb lines, now only $10
