MyGaming Community Steamgifts group new officer nominations

Side note: A MyGaming employee needs to wrest control of that group from OmegaFenix. The process will be the same as when I handed over the community group to Jan. Omega removes all mods, officers, etc from the group, leaving only Jan as an officer. He then leaves the group which will then default ownership to Jan. Omega can then rejoin the group. Good luck!

Agreed, we need control over both. Either with same or different officers, but in all honesty there needs to be some form of control.

omega's been awol for quite a while though (i suspect his lil one and his xbone is keeping him from mygaming)

Edit: Also tagging [MENTION=454]OmegaFenix[/MENTION]. Maybe if he gets and e-mail alert we can convince him to do it :D

and think the rules that are in place should stay but that some might have to be made more clearer

Sorry there wasn't any update on this today. By my count, the following members accepted their nominations to the group:

Thank you to everyone for their nominations and seconds, thank you to those who declined their nominations for their honesty, and a big thank you to the five who have volunteered to look after the giveaway group.

Since there is an odd number, I will be promoting all five of you to officers of the group soon.

Something I feel the new officers should consider is how to handle conflicts among themselves before they might happen (hopefully they never do).

My suggestion is to resolve any difference of opinion by vote. If there should be major personal differences you feel might be affecting the ability of the panel to look after the group, feel free to rope me in by PM.

Regarding the rules of the group: I'm happy to leave that up to you and the community to hash out, but if you'd like me to act as a kind of mediator for that as well, feel free to summon me.

Right... with all this super serial business out of the way, hopefully the giveaway thread can get back to being a fun place for ya'll to run legal video game lotteries.
