Yeah the gfx could use with a update, but for DOA the gfx looked like they fitted the game.

Dragon Age Action Figures Will Probably Look Like This

If you want Dragon Age: Origins action figures, DC Comics' collectibles division has you covered. DC Unlimited will give gamers a quadruple dose of plastic, fully poseable playthings based on BioWare's role-playing game later this year.
Recently announced but heretofore lacking in photographic evidence, the four Dragon Age figures are due to ship on September 29. As you can see for yourselves, the Duncan, Genlock, Morrigan and Loghain figures feature the same solid sculpts that DC Unlimited has become known for with its World of Warcraft figures, but are still "pending licensor approval."
Should things change for the better, we'll no doubt let you know. Who's psyched for some slightly late Dragon Age toys out there?!

February 1, 2010 - If all BioWare's first expansion to Dragon Age: Origins, Awakening, did was give players a chance to explore Amarthanthine and finally unravel the mystery behind the Darkspawn, that would be enough for us. As our 2009 PC Game of the Year, Dragon Age's expansions and sequels need no further justification than simply allowing us to do more of what we loved so much the first time around.

Fortunately, that's not enough for BioWare. The team behind the game are releasing an expansion that includes new options to customize our characters, loads of new abilities and items, and an increased level cap. The expansion will also offer up five new party members for the player to use as they delve deeper into BioWare's ambitious roleplaying game.

Today we're taking a look at the first of these new members, Anders. We've got a new video showing him off and a brief description of who he is.

    ANDERS
Many mages chafe under the Chantry's control, and Anders is no exception. Although most mages are brought into the Circle at a young age, Anders was an adolescent by the time the templars found him: he had an understanding of the outside world and knew full well what he was missing. To him, the walls of the Circle Tower were nothing more than a prison. A born troublemaker, Anders repeatedly broke out of the tower, displaying great ingenuity. But for all his resourcefulness and talent, he could never quite elude the templars. It's a lucky thing that Anders despises blood mages as much as the Chantry does, else he might have been executed as a suspected maleficarum long ago. In truth, all he wants is freedom--well, freedom, a good meal, and a pretty girl on his arm. That's not too much to ask, is it?

EA have today announced that DAO sold 3.2 million copies which is very impressive for an old school style rpg. They didn't specify what platform sold more. Also they announced another DAO title will be released 4th quarter 2011, most like dao 2 but its untitled at the moment. Also mentioned more upcoming dlc for both me2 and dao . That was from their investor release.

    Patch 1.03 :
    Dragon Age: Origins 1.03
    Patch details:

You do not need to download patches prior to Patch 1.03. Downloading Patch 1.03 contains all previous patches. Downloading Patch 1.03 will provide you with all patch data available.

    * Various changes have been made to code and resources to support the Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening expansion pack. Most of these changes do not affect Origins itself.
    * Some players were experiencing increasingly long load times. A major cause of this problem has been fixed.
    * At higher levels, non-player characters now receive a bonus to armor penetration. This mitigates an unintentional imbalance with well-armored high-level characters, since armor penetration previously did not scale as aggressively as armor itself did.
    * Elite-rank enemies (lieutenants) can no longer be shattered. This preserves the intended tactical design of many combat encounters.
    * Portraits for summoned creatures (like a ranger's wolf) were displaying improperly while in the party camp. This no longer occurs.

Its not that bad considering we have games like two worlds and sacred with patches in the gig's. Under 100mb is quite decent.
