Nvidia has announced it's Maxwell Titan X. No pricing or availability has been confirmed, although it's sure to be quite expensive (the original Titan debuted at $3000).

Sooo.. they packed two titans onto a single PCB and added green fan LED?![]()
nah nvidis lost this round, its a 3072 cuda core card, 12gb vram and 384 bit bus whils a card that matches the specs of the titan x the r9 390 will have 3072 stream processors 512 bit bus and 4gb vram and the gpu of the year r9 390x which was powering the steam vr demo will have over 4000 cores hbm(9 times faster than the memory titan and 980ti will use), and a 4096 bit bus. nvida has been stomped.
The price of this will more than likely be closer to 2 gajillion rand. NVIDIA prices for their ultra flagships are always reasonable
Haha, how nice (and devious) of you
I'd still wait for official word from AMD regarding the specs of the 300 series, so far it is only rumours. After that reviews will show who wins what. Also, that last bit about the 4096 bit bus, is just not possible. I'm sure you made some kind of typo. At most it will be a 512 bit bus.
Throwing some shit into the wind; personally from the research I've done and input people have given, I consider the GTX 970 to be an excellent performance card (if not the best) vs the amount of monies you paying for it. (ie. best bang for buck).
Thoughts / opinions ?
reason this comes up is I have adiscussionargument going on Facebook with a few friends.![]()
