    Default Fallout 3 vs Oblivion

    Hey fellow duders.

I was wondering, Im an extensive Oblivion player, with over 4 GB's of mods and still counting. I cant get enough of that game!

However I havent ever gotten around to playing Fallout 3. I've heard the game world is smaller, but is it as good/better?

Please dont ask me wtf I havent played it yet. Im too afraid to lose so many hours of my life! (again)

Also please dont state one is better than the other if you havent invested a considerable amount of time in both.

Oh yes, and is there any other games out there with a similar "feel" to it?
Gothic 3 was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to slow and buggy

Two Worlds just didnt cut it.

Cant compare the 2, the only way they are similiar is the open world feel. Otherwise 2 completely different games.

i've played both but on console.

first thing is that fallout is scifi and not fantasy.
Fallout works on much the same princepal as oblivion lots of quest and such. there isnt that much of dungeon in fallout as in oblivion. your lvl cap in fallout is 20. dont be fooled when they tell you the game world is smaller...its still huge. and for a post appocolipting game its good. i would say if you liked oblivion you would like fallout

p.s if you complete the game its finished..then you have to start a new character or load a save.

I mean in the sense of open world, do what you feel like, sandbox rpg, with lotsa different outcomes to missions and storyline depending on the choices yo make
