    private bill for fuel R1500 work between R400 a day so thats around R6000 and R9000 depending on sites i need to go to.

    Phone bill between 500 and 2000 depending on how much i need to sort out

    You should perhaps also ask who's getting these subsidized by their employer. It distorts the picture quite a bit.

    e.g. I had stretches where I'm refuelling every 48 hours....but also get it back once month end salary hits. Is that an expense to me as per OP?

    Depends, like if the allowance is in your working contract then surely the amount is income in nature which would then contribute to paying off your expenses (in this case your petrol bill). Like for me I listed my average fuel bill but I also mentioned my travel allowance separately to explain the full story which is ultimately the best way to describe it.

    R350 phone
    R500 fuel , only work 10 mins from home now and rarely drive around. Used to be R1500-R2000 when I worked in centurion.

    Work covers my phone bill but an average month is about R500, if I have to travel then it can go to R1500 due to roaming.

    Petrol about R2000pm

    Depends on how its structured. It isn't necessarily income in your hands. e.g. reimbursive allowance structures.

    Listing both would be ideal yes
