Is anyone playing on PC yet? What is your experience like? Are you enjoying it etc?

Was load shed last night as well as this morning, literally the only thing i managed (after all night install before downloading those packs) was to go into a 2 player lobby and either play as scorpion or sub zero

Thats it... lol

I couldnt even set it to finish to download cause got load shed at 6:30 this morning until 8 and i left for work at 6:20

So another night of no playing it seems...

At least i can practice my wombo combos xD

Actually fuck it, gna download it at work... Will still be quicker than waiting to get home tonight and then bam loadsheeting again

I'm right there with you buddy. Owing to the size, I simply can't install it. I feel so stupid for opting for a retail copy, I may as well have gone for the GMG special where you could get the game and Kombat pack for $61. Ag well, you live and you learn. If I am lucky I'll be playing by the weekend. Assuming there will be power to do so...

Still have the last 10GB pack to download, but played a couple rounds online. 5 rounds against a local in the SA room, got my ass handed to me 4-1. Then tried playing an international, was surprisingly playable, with a slight couple of ms delay. It's fun, my framerate seems to dip a bit to the low 20's every now and then.

Glad to see I'm not the only one losing out on this game. Between work and loadshedding I still haven't managed to play at all. Got the game yesterday and managed to put the disc into my console to start installing and downloading the update this morning but probably only be able to start playing the weekend. *sigh*

Sorry for the late reply, had a hectic day at work...

This game is so awesome! Iv started the story component which is surprisingly good! Im only on chapter 4 so not to far in, but what i have played has been really well put together!

The fighting styles have changed quite a bit, you can see they pushing the combos hard. A few players styles have become totally different, Johnny Cage is very slow and almost like a "tank" if I can use that term... Subzero and Scorpion are AMAZING as always... The X-ray moves are also fantastic, but they get VERY repetitive... I wish there was some variation in the x rays... The new characters are all very well designed, Kotal Kahn is similar to Johnny Cage in the sense that he is slow and Big... Mileena is insanely quick!

Iv done the 2 gig update on my PS4 and downloaded the pre order stuff, the characters are really small, like 1 meg each... Will get some more time in tonight, but this load shedding is a bitch...

Will keep an eye out for cheap deals on the game next month or if someone is selling 2nd hand on gumtree

It's been good so far. Managed to play 1 fairly good online fight with what I believe was an international player in Ranked mode. I nearly beat him though, but to be honest I haven't really practised with any characters

Other matches online, I still get the occasional "The session is no longer available" message, however, if we can rack up a few locals, I'm pretty sure it'd be awesome online

As for the story mode, haven't started it yet, too busy with work, but everything else, graphics, gore, x-rays, fatalities, pure awesomeness and in my opinion, hands down the best looking version as well.
