Conclusion: The winner of this game seems more than obvious. But then there wasn’t a surprise to this either. This is one of first games to be publicly criticized for its poor port while still in its demo.
Sega publicly admitted that they passed the port off to another company. Sega SHOULD have stepped up and fixed the issues to make sure the port was identical. Instead they proved that not only were they not interested in spending extra money to ensure quality, but also that they’re quite fine with ripping off the public by charging the same amount for an inferior copy. But why lay blame solely to Sega.
They published the poor port, but Sony should have stepped in for quality control. You can only blame the publishers for so long before you start wondering why a company would allow for a poor port to be on their console. It’s a simple concept know as quality control. In the end, Bayonetta wins on the Xbox 360 for this Head2Head more for Sega and Sony’s lack of quality control.
