And this brings me to my only gripe in Army of Two: 40th Day is the IA of the enemies sometimes they would just stand around looking like lawn ornaments. And other times out of nowhere they will pull some brilliant tactics catching you totally off guard. The AI for your partner is thankfully smarter this time around. But there was plenty of times where he decided to go aggro when I had ordered him not too, or had hunkered down somewhere apparently leaving me to do most of the work myself.

I really like this new direction that Army of Two has taken, also the fact that the second game is a massive improvement over the first one. I can also honestly say that I am looking forward to the next game in the series. Give me more morality moments and more sophisticated AI and Army of Two will be ready to move to the elite AAA section of the gaming halls of fame. If EA Montreal can keep this up they will have a winning franchise on their hands.
