They won America's worst company award a couple of times. Unfortunately I will still buy from them. Like Dragon Age Inquisition is something I must still play.

If EA put half as much thought and effort into their products as Apple does, I think we'd all be a lot better off. People may not like Apple and the way in which they operate, but there's no denying they care about their end products. For example, the flowers and jellyfish one can use as Apple Watch faces? The longest one took 285 hours to shoot, with over 24 000 shots. That's a lot of effort put into something most companies would simply brush aside.

Yeah Solitude me too. I am appalled by their business ethics, and the way in which they are profit driven over anything else. I know that companies that doesn't make any money can't continue making games, but seriously, doing so at the cost of gamers is just bad PR. That's why they are always voted the worst company in America.

And still, when Star Wars comes out, I'll through all my money at them, because I must have it.

Apple only does what Apple does to get people to part with their money and to protect their investment into said technology. Yes, they put a lot of thought and effort into their products, but that does not affect the net result. Exploiting workers, insane demands on suppliers and employees, etc...the list goes on.

EA really kinda does the same thing, release something that will sell (irrespective if it's good, bad or totally gimped). The fact is that people still buy their products and use their services. As long as they are getting people to part with their money they will continue to do as they please.

I think that's the difference between the two. In my opinion, EA does the bare minimum, whereas Apple still puts a lot of effort into "fluff" features simply because they want to.
