Eish. But the loadshedding she is killing me now. Just got power back, but ADSL line not synching yet. Will get to it soon as I can.

So how many of you play with a keyboard? Wheel? Controller?
T A N S T A A F L
Xbone controller at present, until a buy a new AC adapter for my wheel. I must say though it's solid on controller.
I can't imagine playing it on a binary input like keyboard.
See this https://www.dirtgame.com/uk/leagues/...14396/rally-sa
LOL! That was fun.
While it lasted! You had +13.5s over me on Stage 1. I got better on Stage 2 - only +0.9s difference. Then on Stage 3 I overcooked a hairpin and sent that little Mini off the side of a cliff! Vehicle damage at 86% - terminal. Unable to continue in the event.
I like that the game is unforgiving - make a stupid mistake as I did, and you pay the price. No Instant Rewind and try again nonsense. That said, did sort of spoil the moment for me a little. Maybe set up the next one to have a few replayable stages?
At least we know now that the League system works. Will look at setting another event up with different cars for each stage to mix things up. First I have to go earn some credits to buy a couple more cars!
Thanks BeoTeK - I'm liking this more and more each time I fire it up!

I'm using an old Logitech wheel. Struggling to find the sweet spot in the settings, but getting better at it.

Can't be as bad as me with my old ballie reflexes! All you have do is finish 3 of the 6 stages and you'll have me beat.

Found some interesting info in their roadmap ('scuse the pun):
Source: http://steamcommunity.com/app/310560/Another key element of Pikes Peak is the change in altitude. The difference in air pressure has a huge impact on the power the engine can produce and how much downforce is created by those big wings. Power loss with altitude is something we already simulate (you may have noticed a difference in car performance between Wales and Greece) but in Pikes Peak you actually get to feel the power drop as you climb. I’ll talk a bit more about Hillclimb next week so watch this space.”
