I mean it. I've been playing the game over the last 2 weeks and with the patches it's not bad. I still have some frame rate drops in the cut scenes and huge crowds outside the palaces but in general (95% of the game) it runs smoothly.

Then in terms of gameplay I prefer the fighting, I really wish they didn't scrap the meat Shields but the combat is more interactive which makes it more fun. My only issue is the guns and dodging the bullets but I'm sure they can fix that.

Then in the main campaign missions the gameplay is very open and you no longer have those invisible play area boundaries to keep you within 10m of the target. In the middle of one of the missions I was running between checkpoints and I ticked of a side mission and a nastradamus symbol hunt. I then looked around the palace, found 3 possible entrances and I chose the one that best fitted a stealth approach and climbed in through the roof.

This is a very open assassins creed game and I think it takes open world gaming to a new level. I just wish they didn't stuff it up with hundreds of chests, paid costumes and a poorly finished co-op experience. There is some great work in that game in my opinion.
