I installed Game Booster a while ago and the performance increase that comes with it is ridiculous... I just can't figure out why.
I've gone through all my services and made sure that only the absolutely necessary ones run and I turn off any programs I don't need before I game, but still, running game booster gives ridiculous performance boosts.
As an example, in Shadow of Mordor, without GameBooster running, I had to play on medium, and could still only get 30-50fps, I turned game booster on, and suddenly it ran at 70 fps on high.

I would really like to know where the performance suddenly appears from.
