Howzit gents/gals,

A buddy of mine needs a high-end machine for use primarily as a music recording system, I need some advise with the specs that he should likely look at.

Budget is around R10k, including monitor. My knowledge of sound cards and what this sort of system would need is lacking so I need some help please. I would think it would need to be a high-end machine, good level of RAM, i7 chip, unsure if it would need a decent graphics card or just a normal one would suffice.
