ESWC announces CS:GO South African Qualifiers

The Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC), the most spectacular gaming tournament in the world, will be hosting a qualifying event in South Africa for the first time this year, and MSI South Africa will be present to sponsor this landmark match-up.

Registration opens May 4th.

The online portion of the competition begins on Sunday 17th May through to the 24th May, with 32 teams. 8 teams will be invited to take part in the LAN on June 6-7, for a Winner Takes All showdown.

South African eSports and CS:GO teams will be competing for the chance to qualify for an all-expense paid trip to play in the international ESWC Montreal final, and a chance to win an incredible grand prize.


MSI will be there as a sponsor, and we'll keep you posted with more news as we have it, and with tournament updates. The tournament is being hosted by our friends at Orena​. The venue will be Jukes Club and Esports lounge​.
