I never once said I'm not enjoying it, oh contraire, I'm loving it!. It's just what it could have been. And you just get into the immersion of the story and the game then it crashes. That kinda stuff is just a little off putting.Originally Posted by Hagan
I understand that you are enjoying it, but there is so much talk of what the game is lacking, graphically, compared to what was advertised years ago. Yeah, it looked super fantastic and what we were delivered is not as demonstrated as the footage of E3, but it still look really, really good, IMO, and I'm sure many of you will attest to this.

thats like saying the, tv i bought is not the colour one shown on the box but atleast i get picture even though its black & white.
The fact is these graphical downgrades are getting worse and worse.
Forza 5, watchdogs, ryse i can bet your ass the division will also get a major downgrade when its released next year
In the TV's case, it'd be more picture quality degradation than the comparison from colour to black and white... no?
That would be a whole different level deception, false and blatantly incorrect advertising, claiming colour but only receiving two-tone (aka black and white).
well I have been fortunate to not have followed all the footage since the initial showcase so I don't claim to climb on that bandwagon too much. I still think the game looks fantastic, the lighting just looks flat (is the best work I can use).

I can understand that they wanted to optimise it but I can't understand why the took the nice dark look away and went for a more colorful game. Maybe to appeal to more people?
The lighting model would have killed the consoles I imagine. The main reason I would guess. And if you take that away you're left with what we have, a generic flat look.
Ah yes, that's possible. Very disappointing.
