Lol, AMD Still need to release their cards or give us more information so maybe the AMD fans will be jelly for a little while.
Maybe there's a good reason AMD is delaying the cards for so long, learning from the competition and improving before releasing their new cards?

Can these Hardware companies slow down please? At least till I can actually afford it :P
But in all seriousness I am interested in seeing what AMD will pull out out of their sleeves.
I really hope they do. I am a Nvidia fan but it will be good to have some proper competition again, because Nvidia are becoming ridiculous with the pricing on their cards.
In the end, the consumer wins. I actually hope AMD bring something really good to the table so they can win back some of the market and make some profits. If AMD go down we are in for some troubling times.
Please don't take this as offense I beg you but it's that theirs to many Nvidia fanboys out there that will pay much more for a slower performing card. I know project cars is a different story. Maybe we all must just go for AMD cards next so that they can get more market share. If everybody in the world stand together we might see thing shift the other way and Nvidia need to reduce prices.
I'm running AMD cards and although not 100% satisfied I can play many games just fine on it 2560x1440 @ 96Hz. I must say for the amount I payed it's actually very good. I'm no AMD fanboy but I had a choice between 780 and r9280x crossfire. I'm happy I bought the r9 280x crossfire instead of 780. An ex clan mate of mine running 780 Lightnings in SLI and having major performance issues in many games. I'm telling you that theirs issues all around with AMD and Nvidia. Some people tend to just look pass the issues and tell you with Nvidia you never have issues but with AMD you always have issues and that's not true. You get issues with both from time to time. Nvidia fanboys keep forgetting about the issue where they had the fan stopped and also the artifact issue that broke many many cards and made games literally unplayable for many people.
Oh and I'm not liking the attitude of Nvidia with their Gameworks sponsored titles. They are trying to hurt the gaming community. Why can't we all just get along they have enough fanboys to be able to sell games. It must be less about the money and more about the gaming community they might even sell more cards.
Even though they might convert some people over to AMD Nvidia will still have the lead by far.

Don't worry, I don't take offense that easily. I get your point of Nvidia fans buying the expensive cards and so perhaps justifying Nvidia pricing their cards as such. However, people won't pay a lot of money for something that doesn't work or performs poorly. I'm not convinced they are paying much more for slower performing cards. They might pay more for a Nvidia card that is a bit slower than the competing AMD card, but it isn't just about performance.
It is build quality, power usage, temperature, noise, drivers, etc. All these things Nvidia are currently doing better than AMD, and people are clearly willing to pay more for these things.
I agree that AMD has some stellar cards with the R9 series, especially the midrange ones, but on the high end they are not comparing well with Nvidia.
The recent price drops from AMD might help them with market share, but I am not sure it is helping them with their bottom line. Cutting prices on cards reduces profits, something AMD sorely needs. They had to cut the pricing to compete with Nvidia.
You have your die hard fans that will always buy Nvidia no matter what, but I think this is small market segment. Most people want the best bang for their buck, be it Nvidia or AMD that gives it to them. Right now (and for the past few years) it has been Nvidia. If AMD bring out great new cards, people will convert, however market share won't change overnight in AMD's favour, it will take time. The current gap in market share also didn't happen overnight, it started quite a few years ago.
