Looks like that site has better quality stuff than dealextreme, but it's definitely more pricey. Might use them when I need quality stuff for my home security system though.

I also want to dabble with some robotics sms stuff, and maybe even bold my own 3X printer even I have some spare cash

So I'm looking at dusting off my Pi and changing it's function as I no longer have a PC.

I am wanting to set up a media-center type effort but I would prefer to stream rather than download and collect.

I was looking at Kodi but there are others, namely OSMC / RasBMC OpenELEC.

    Advice and suggestions?

Uhm, OSMC and RasBMC all run Kodi. I'll check what I'm running if you are planning to do a media player thing

I had an idea of that... but I've never really had a need or purpose until now to have dealings with these things. It's not that I don't mind downloading stuff, I just don't want to become a hoarder. I've got plenty space avail so it's not an issue, I just don't have anywhere to constantly download and save and keep a library of shit. I would rather just stream what I want to watch when required. Which is why Netflix is perfect but limited to a degree.

PS: Stop playing games so early!

Shane, I got the PI 1 at home and have run Kodi 17 Krypton on it, the visuals on the interface is stimulating, but it gets a bit sticky. I guess it would run better on the PI 2 and 3. So I have opted for Openelec, it is still Kodi but very lightweight, runs smooth and there is a lot of add-ons for streaming. I've used Exodus but lately Streamhub has been my choice.
