wonder what the local price will be. given the current trajectory of the ZAR, i have to assume it will cost around a R1,500 :-(
At that price 360 controllers will have to do :/

Saw it listed as a Steam Pre-Order last night at $49.99. Looks like they've taken that bit down now as it now shows "Coming Soon" again. Weird.

Mouse and keyboard will always be my favorite, but controllers are better when it comes to, like fighting games.

I wouldn't mind having one of those, looks nice, but I would like to test it out first before I buy it, will have to wait for some reviews before I can decide.
    Almighty legit one.

I think our local prices are based off of UK prices if I'm not mistaken so the direct conversion comes in around R800. Retail will probably be arounf R1000 then.

hmm...so no too far off the current controller pricing. still, would be happier if it cost closer to R600, which i reckon is more fair. a grand for a controller just seems a tad steep.

Anyone else getting the Steam Controller? Just placed my order with Amazon. Also comes with Portal 2 and Rocket league.

I'll consider getting one if my 360 controller stops working and if it's available locally. I'm not going out of my way to get one right now.

    Totally understandable.
Selling my Xbox One Wireless Controller though. It's actually cheaper to get the Steam Controller from Amazon, which comes with a wireless dongle, then buy a Xbox One Controller + Wireless dongle locally.
