Default Vodacom acquires 100% of Neotel- Unfair competition or not?

Do you guys think this creates unfair competition? ( Cell C certainly does ). Might be good for us as the consumer as they will now force other companies to be more competitive and drive down prices?

I personally think that's this is a really good thing.

I'm not a law or business expert, but I don't see why Cell C has any right to complain? They are a terrible company with bad service. Who's fault is it now that they didn't buy Neotel first?

In May, Cell C’s CEO Jose Dos Santos said he would do whatever it takes to block the acquisition.
“We will keep them in court for as long as the legal system allows it, which is two years,” said Dos Santos.
“I have an entire legal team on this….we will do whatever it takes, legally.”
Maybe Jose should rather be putting all his and Cell C's energy towards improving their product, service and customer support rather than on pissing into the wind of an expensive, probably unsuccessful, legal challenge? Money better spent in my opinion.

Who says they aren't improving their products, services and customer support?

It's just a publicity stunt designed to screw over Vodacom and paint them as thieving criminals. However I think in this case it's backfired.
