When I saw this article, my initial thought was: "Assassin Creed had a good run, let it die with some dignity". But then I imagined a Roman Empire Assassins Creed, or one within the ancient cities of Egypt, and my thought changed to: "I want Ass Creed Egypt NAUW!!!"...

They already have assassins creed in China and Russia

    Shao Jun
    Nikolai Orelov

Then we have Altair's son who moved to Egypt to join the brotherhood there
    Darim Ibn LaAhad

Personally I'm a fan of the following the story of Darim, we could see the expansion of the Assassins empire and travel across Egypt and the middle east which could be cool.

I would like to see the series stop it's current forward movement into more recent times. Its just my experience but I felt that the games set in more distant historic times had a way more atmospheric feel to them and overall richer storyline.
My favourite so far was Brotherhood so I'd be completely onboard if a Roman setting were to happen.
