It would actually be a very compelling strategy by Nintendo if they released an updated, high-def, all guns blaring version of the Wii - with graphics comparable to other next-gen consoles. It would mean they could keep costs well down and get a serious timing advantage on MS/Sony - probably with backwards compatibility and some kind of overhauled, properly integrated motion sensing technology. I'll be impressed if that happened. I've always stuck by Nintendo but I really haven't bee in the least interested in Wii since there hasn't been a single worthwhile game after Mario Galaxy.
