Save up and buy legit. You'll have A LOT more peace of mind, mate...and if it DOES go faulty, you'll know that you can take it back to the store where you bought it.

I was offered a brand new PS3 @ R2500 when they were still going for R5k. It was obviously a stolen shipment and I have too big a conscience to ever sit down and enjoy the console without feeling guilty.

But it's up to you, boet.

Personally I wouldn't be so paranoid.

All I would make sure is that it works. The price is good, but not mind blowing that it sets off alarm bells. I really wouldn't freak out just yet.

As I said I would definitely make sure it works though. And trust your gut, I am sure you are not a dumbass. If you see the guy is a Nigerian carry the PS3 in a checkers packet then um ya there is something not lekker.
