I would like some input from you gamer's. What would you guys want out of a channel. How do you feel about language etc. Do you prefer play through or comments on games etc.

Kill me now - The Afrikaans dude did not spell check before posting. I is sorry.
I prefer someone not yapping incoherent rubbish for 10 minutes, I don't care what the options menu looks like or how much customization you can do. Talk (2min about the title) show up to 5min of gameplay, discuss the mechanics of the title and your thoughts on the title (make sure the stuff you're talking about was in the gameplay you showcased. That's it. That is all that is needed.
Too many people try to be the next PewDiePie, TotalBiscuit or EightThoughts and it's just annoying...be you and just you.
Here's the thing, it's kind of difficult to give an idea, in the sense that almost every kind of channel for gaming exists. So usually what happens with channels is that you provide something different that people may or may not have realized they wanted, and end up liking/loving it.
So the real question from me is, what's your core idea? Do you want to do playthroughs? Do you want to do commentary on games and the industry? Do you want to provide news? Do you want to do general podcasts?
Then the follow-up question to that is, once you've decided on your core idea? What will you bring to the table that makes people want to watch your channel? Will you have a comedic element? Will you provide insight? Do you have a personality that allows you not to need a differentiating factor amongst the myriad of channels?
Answer those questions and you'll be on the right track, because the core idea should be about what YOU want to share with your audience, only then can you get real opinions from potential viewers on how to make your core idea better.
Here's an example of our channel at eAe Gaming:
We have Dota 2 casters/commentators and we upload our VODs, and then on the flipside, we have candid podcasts about general geek culture (movies, shows, games, comics, etc).
Just be yourself. If you want to do gameplay without commentary or with, it's your choice.
I also want to create my own YT channel one day, but I have a lot to think about before going into that.
Take into consideration what games you wish to play, how long you want each video to be. What target audience you want to attract. Many possibilities.
Thanks everyone, I have 3 main idea's for my channel. Nr1. General online game-play showcasing how not to do game. In other words do 100% the reverse of me and you will be great. Nr. 2 playing the free PSN games per month so basically If you like the game then download it before wasting your time and data, and nr 3. If a game has a unique element like gwent in Witcher 3 to showcase it.
The only thing I ever want to see in gameplay vids is expert playing. I cannot stand blind playthroughs or watching someone figure out how to play a game. drives me mental.
Oh and channel intro's on every video. If its longer than 5 seconds im not interested.
My tips for an awesome channel:
Great gameplaying
flippin short intro's
check here for extremely skilled gameplay. Its so skilled I think he might have cheats:
