“You will know the good from the bad when you are calm, at peace. Passive. A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack.”

true. most secure housing complexes will keep out most zombies, but then you have to pick your location carefully. but I'm not taking any chances with the possibility of a herd so I'm sticking with the Castle for now.
Tyger Valley shopping centre is plan B. there will be ample cars and supplies and there is a gas station in the main parking lot. not to mention they have completely fenced off the entire mall...
little know fact: when asked what he would do if the zombie apocalypse started tomorrow, Robert Kirkman (writer and creator of The Walking Dead) said he would kill himself cause he doesn't want to survive in a world like that.
Well then, we are kindred spirits then. Only reason I would fight or survive is if someone I cared about wanted to survive, then I would just tag a long with my Lobo chopping of biter's heads.

Not to get all technical and stuff. But that would be a horrible weapon to use. Very few people are skilled enough or strong enough to use a blade like that to chop off heads or even limbs. And it would blunt very quickly if it cut through bone a lot. It also can't stab or pierce skull. What you need is something that can pierce the skull easily or cave in the skull to damage the brain. A shovel or even a light-weight pick will work.
Check out the Lobo and designs it was based on. Perfect weapon for zombie killing.

lol, I love when these kind of discussions get technical...
One thing I have against huge structures, is the kinds of attention it might get from both zombies and survivors. It might just draw too much attention. I would rather be somewhere secure and not surrounded by lots of people being selfish and drawing attention to their stupid selves.
