Default King's Quest: Be still my nostalgic heart!

So the wonderful people at Sierra are doing what they do best (well... redoing), ADVENTURE GAMES!

They have remade the classic King's Quest into a 5 chapter game and it looks to be just as awesome as the original.

Now I can only hope they plan to do the same with their other adventure titles.... *spacequestspacequestspacequestspacequest*

They're really not badly priced at all!

And I'm looking at getting these to play through with my son, though he may not get the mechanics and the how to, the story is wonderfully innocent.

I never played the original >.>

However I did notice this remake a week ago and I have been resisting buying it so far, but it looks like such an epic game.

My birthday is coming up this month.. *cough*

To give you an idea how much I loved the series as well as space quest, police quest and all the rest - I have most of them on disk, and I still replay most of them (when it still worked) at least once a year. For me there has not been anything like these games, and I absolutely loved them. They have always been a part of my gaming habit and its what I started with once I was a little older.

King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, Quest for Glory.... so many fond memories. they can leave Larry though. that has been abused enough

I totally agree Malice, I still get nostalgic when I hear any of their theme songs.
