Default Steam Receiving alot of Ports for old console games lately

Maybe its just me, but it seems like steam is receiving a lot of ports for old console titles

Legend of kay anniversary technically a slightly prettier 10 year old ps2 title
way of the samurai 4 a close to 8 year old ps 3 title
    valkyria chronicles

tales of symophonia is also getting a pc port soon

its just strange that they know there is a demand for the titles on PC yet they take forever to port those games over when the graphics and gameplay mechanics are finally dated, valkyria chronicles is a pretty good game but why wait so long to port it.

Steam also has a lot of old 16bit era games for purchase. Why the hell? People have been playing those on emulators for years.
