I agree. Apparently they are going to do the draw closer to the next World Cup which will be much better!

I was not aware of that. Happy to hear that the IRB (after numerous board meetings, I suppose) eventually came to the same conclusion that you, I, and every other fan figured out many cups ago.

    Consider your mission accomplished.
One day, I'll grow up and become responsible.
    Probably not today.

I see Wales have lost two influential players due to injury after playing against Italy last weekend. Leigh Halfpenny and Rhys Webb will both miss the World Cup.

One great thing with South Africa having an easy couple of games to start with is that it makes for the ideal warm-up games. We don't have to play any games before the actual World Cup starts.

I logged my picks for the MyG/MyBB RWC competition after a lot of mental arithmetic. There may have been some Excel spreadsheets, with weighted averages, involved as well, but you will never hear the truth from me

So you guys and girls that picked your teams already, how much thought did you put into your picks? Did you go with gut feel or did you analyse previous results, logged possible outcomes and figure scoring margins into your picks?

tl;dr (honestly? Was that too long for you? Pffft!): Did you pick with heart or brain?

I went with my heart. I decided to take a chance and picked South Africa instead of New Zealand. If they do well then so will I. My other choices I mostly went with gut instinct.

I wen't somewhat with my heart, and somewhat with knowledge of past outcomes and current team form; however I am not super knowledgeable about the composition of all teams, player stats, etc.

I just like rugby and follow the game semi casually
