export xbox profile and saved games

Hi all

is there a way to export your xbox gaming profile and saved games to an external drive? The Ps3 has that option. Not willing to spend R600 for the transfer kit.

Nope. Your only option is a transfer kit or a (similarly priced) memory unit.

What happens when your drive crashes? No backup. Now that sucks!!

Um. To be honest, I've never heard of an Xbox HDD failing.

Well if you are willing to void your warrant on the HDD then you can open the casing up, connect it to your pc and use the tool called Xplorer360 to copy the profile and savegames from the drive to another location on your pc. It's messy, but it works fine.

You will need a torx 6 and 10 driver to open the casing though.
