The Need For Speed Reboot is just a couple of months away and now we have our first list of confirmed cars that are going to be in the game. It seems the closer we get, the more info is coming out about what is becoming quite the anticipated title. Earlier this month we learned about some of the icons and the main cast of the title and now we get a heads up on at least some of the models that we’ll be able to drive.

Developer Ghost Games took to their Twitter page to release the list. There are 17 car names on there, though it should be pointed out, the company added that there are “many more to come.” So if you don’t happen to see the kind of roadster you’re really wanting to drive, keep hope alive that it will eventually be added.

There has also been talk about the fact that cars are going to be added as the game goes along, likely as DLC and this list of 17 is just a part of what will be available on day one. While the market has been flooded by racing games the last couple of years, Need For Speed is one of those titles that has been around long enough, in one form or another, it has a following that is different than other titles in the genre. Need for Speed is due out for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 3, check out the confirmed list of cars you’ll be able to drive on launch below.

Aaaand..... there's the catch, anything after release will be DLC (but of course).

But it might not be dlc Beo :p remember it's still being developed and other cars prolly might be added before release, remember if i'm not mistaken no NFS title has ever launched with less than 20 cars :p

But then again i might be wrong.............

Also the game is online only. Basically you need an active internet connection to play.

I am on the fence about this one, I really want it to succeed. There has not been a proper 'street racer' in a while, not since NFS:MW, later titles where crap. How ever I can not hide my excitement specially for the Mazda RX7 Spirit R.

E30, RX7, Evo VIII, S2000, Nissan Silvia, BRZ.
Oh man, these will be such fun cars :D

The hype needs to be contained!

My guess is to Curb Piracy

It does'nt need a million cars but 17 seems to little maybe they add cars every month for free like Driveclub does.It also started with not many cars but now it has more than enough.

I take it you never played NFS:Rivals? That thing had a fuck load of purchasable cars and only a handful that came with the game. It's almost like extortion.

I never played Rivals I was just hoping for the best but it seems EA are up to no good. The only EA game I am buying this year is Star wars Battlefront .

Yeah, one of my biggest concerns to be honest. But I'm trying to be positive and hope they add more. It is still early days and I'll probably get it because race car.

Though I'm more concerned over the grind that will be to be able to unlock things. Hell, I just wanna be able to create cars and variations, I'm not too hyped about the gameplay, most NFS titles are all kinda the same.

I see a few things that bothered us have been put to rest :D
1.We plan to release a series of free content updates for Need for Speed. We currently have no plans for any paid DLC
2.Can I switch off the Dynamic “drift” Camera?
Yes, this is just one of the camera options in the game. Choose between bumper, bonnet, chase, far chase and dynamic cameras.
3.Will there be micro transactions?
There will be no micro transactions

And for the Console people :p
