I do have a very bad experience with Books becoming movies! A VERY good example is the Hobbit movie series....
This Thread should be named Books that should STAY books and NOT become movies! Just to keep that vision you have in your mind of your favorite books untarnished by a movie.

I must admit, I'm a big dragon fan but I didn't like the movie at all. I even tried the first book (against [MENTION=12130]Snare[/MENTION]'s warning), and even the book didn't keep me interested.

It's on Netflix, so just get a sub! Loads of other stuff on there as well. Don't know what I'd do without it...
