There are so few old style RPG's being made anymore, it seems everything is becoming more action-centric. So I do not know where you get the idea there are tons of them. Maybe in the past, but they are taking a heavy hit recently. I totally agree devs can / should push the boundaries, and Peter Molyneux always makes it sound like he has, but it never works out that way. His games are fun, but they never live up to his hype. He always speaks about emotional investment, but he fails dismally when it comes to that in his games.

Personally I think the game will be quaint, but nothing fantastic.
